"This plain, 6-story, white-brick building at 85 Eighth Avenue on the southwest corner at 15th Street in Chelsea was erected by its neighbor on the avenue, the first branch of the New York Bank for Savings on the northwest corner of 14th Street.

It has 118 co-operative apartments and was erected by The Blitman Construction Corporation. It was designed by Ginsbern & Associates. " Read Carter's Full Review

"24 hour doorman, laundry on every floor and a common courtyard for owners. There is a parking garage that is leased out to another company. The building does not own the garage. Liberal board that allows co-purchases. They are debating a change in the pet policy and sublet policy. Currenly pets are allowed and subletting is allowed after living in the building for 2 years Right next to the A/C/E/L trains and located right on the border of Chelsea and the West Village"

"Post War style, coop building. There is a full time doorman, garden courtyard, elevator, laundry on every floor, and access to a garage. The building isn't that appealing from the outside (concrete blocks), but it's a great option for those looking for a good deal in Chelsea. I have a contract pending in this building"
