This handsome, 48-story rental apartment building at 175 West 60th Street on the northeast corner at Amsterdam Avenue just to the west of the Fordham University Lincoln Center campus and a block south of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

It was erected in 2016 by Glenwood Management and designed by Stephen B. Jacobs.

It has 258 apartments.

John Saladino was the interior designer.

Glenwood’s portfolio includes many of the city’s most luxurious rental towers including the Somerset, the Stratford, the Pavilion, the Barclay, the Brittany and the Andover on York Avenue

Bottom Line

Another super luxury rental tower from Glenwood Management not far from its shorter but impressive Grand Tier tower at 1930 Broadway on the other side of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Description

The building has many corner windows and a 17-foot-high lobby with a bronze architectural relief, three seating areas and Tibetan rugs with floors inlaid with Tudor Gold and Southern Vein marble and a Roman laurel leaf mosaic with a white-oak coffered ceiling and limestone walls.

Amenities

The LEED-certified tower has a rooftop swimming pool under a gabled skylight, a children’s playroom, bicycle storage, laundry, dry cleaning valet and maid services, doorman, concierge, residents’ lounges on the 3rd and 49th floors

Apartments

Apartments have 9-foot ceilings, washers and dryers and bamboo-plank flooring.  Some units have walk-in closets.

Kitchens have Scavolini Italian white glass-fronted cabinetry, Jet Mist granite countertops with mosaic backsplashes, GE Café Series Energy Star appliances including a five-burner, self-cleaning gas range with upper and lower ovens, a GE Monogram refrigerator with ice-maker and instant hot-water dispenser, and a water filtration system.

Apartment C on the 5th through the 16th floors is a two-bedroom unit with a corner, 21-foot-long living room with a windowed, open, pass-through kitchen.

Apartment A on the 4th through the 16th floors is a one-bedroom unit with a 12-foot-wide entry foyer and a 17-foot-long living room with a windowed, open, pass-through kitchen.
